Hey there, as you may have read the page on work in progress, 57 chevy phantom. I am doing another project working for the clients. As I have mentioned you all that I am an artist as well.. I have to figure how to find spot I normally work on.. I have a very small space here in the house so I finally got a solution, I happen have a file cabinet and is really perfect for me putting all work and when its on hold or need a break I can close the drawer and leave there with no items moving . Thought this might be an ideal for you all if you have a way with getting flat file cabinets you may want for your project with various model cars alternatively... check this... These I kept many artworks in there, but I borrow one drawer for this model building temporarily . This I normally work models on that table but I NEEEED this for painting.. so I had to find a way Have a great week .

The whole files are mostly artworks I have painted over years and conserve them as a personal collection ... Planning on giving to my children when I passes on. This cabinets are quite expensive to buy, I got it at a discounted used business furniture stores which gave me a really great deal for that. Normally, new flat file cabinets sells for 1000 or so... got them for 250.
If you are really looking for one, I would suggest you try local Used Business furniture stores.. They would usually have them and they tend to try sell at a very low price because many companies don't usually buy them. They are quite hard to sell.

yes, When I bought the file cabinet, It is actually used to stand on a spot permanently. So knowing this, I will move things around over times and decided to create a frame and caster. I would not have back pain if I move it.
Main reason is because most of time things under gets collected and dusty. I be able to sweep and clean with no effort to move it. Let the wheels do the work for me.
