Here is my entry, Deals wheels Glitter Bug. almost box stock.i did scratch the roll bar and detail the engine. I modified the steering wheel that came with the kit so the little guy had something to hang onto .
used Krylon glitter blast green then added more flake, two colors of green and a dash of gold. so many coats of future floor i lost count. Tamiya and vallejo acrylics for the face, craft paint for his shirt. tamiya clear for the fog and taillights and the wheels. sanded the wheels a bit and used some dry pigments to make them look a little used.last but not least printed up a little deals wheels flag.OH!! and fashioned a gold chain for a touch of bling.Simple base fashioned form a piece of grant cobble stone, some clay and sand. I had a ball building this little kit..  great fun!!

The Killy Willys!

Something in the lines and lunge of this kit cried out "SHARK"!!





Coming for you on in a spray of surf!
Fins and toothy grill are sheet PVC Gills are spoon tips. Wake and spew are blue bottle plastic and clear epoxy.
Paint is rattle can gray and white, with a coat of pearl to give it a shark-skin look.










Da-Dum. Da-Dum. DaDa-DaDa-DaDa-DaDa-Da-Dum.....

Here Is the car... 57 Chevy Phantom.

Its a wonderful car to work with and creating an idea that makes it much different from the gasser style kit. It was a challenge creating them into a low rise car. I had the chance to explore and create a different version of this car. Yet is a lot of work but fun as well.

The body of the car is used with Testors paint, Blue pearl by boyd ... which is discontinued. I had the chance to salvage couples
for the future model cars. I have always loved the blue color and with the white top on this car as it blends with white wall tires.
Red dot on the wheels is added to create a touch or warm color. The emblem is of course, a hat pin I salvaged from the flea market
couple of years ago. The black cat in the back wants to sit and enjoy being in the lime light so I let em have the opportunity.

Wow! Great builds so far. All you guys have set the bar pretty high!

Started with a theme from Indianapolis Speedway Brickyard. Re-cut the decals for an alternate spelling. Tried to keep with somewhat the original color of theStone Woods Cook Willys. Kinda a nod to Grumpy's Toy Camaro but with attitude. ( Don't know what happened to his other finger?)  Added the "anchor" to the open chute from the "Tarantula" kit. Cut a  torpedo from a militarily model, made and added a cigar with a wisp of smoke for "motion". Kept him flesh color and sanded off the chain on his arm and added a real one for "motion" like the art work. Chromed the engine, and the pipes Added the   wheelie bars. Lot of individual parts painting for a simple kit. The Deal's Wheels Camaro received red lines on the wheels  and a very far sighted "Gumpy"driver from LOSING! Ha. Quick diorama of the famous finish line at "Ickanapolis". Hand painted bricks from a strip of Scale model brick wall decor. Added grass and "stone texture" spray to the track. Made a billboard with lights AND FLYING EYE/TIRE LOGO to WELCOME EVERYBODY TO THE iCKANAPOLIS SPEEDWAY! ENJOY THE LITTLE VIDEOS AT THE END!

Banana Split!!!

BanDai '63 Vette split window coupe body bashed with Polar Lights "Snap-It".

Revell '63 and '67 Vette parts used, as well as Revell '41 Willys gasser front frame section, suspension, engine, etc. AMT metal injector stacks. Scratchbuilt 10 spoke spindle-mount gasser rims up front, and a Minion figure!

I'm entering my "Badboy" in the unfinished (walk of shame) category. Life, laziness and work got in the way of me finishing
my entry but I'll get it done soon. I threw some primer on it and snapped it together plus added a little cotton smoke for effect. It will be painted this coming week as I have to finish it for an upcoming show in the next month.

It's 10:10pm and the deadline has passed .
I've decide not to lock this thread so that everyone can post comments here if you wish . Personally I think all of the entries are awesome and I don't know how I'm going to be able to pick any favorites . You guys always seem to come up with these ideas and I always smack myself saying "Why didn't I think of that ?"
