What if we let the contest winners pick their prizes from the prize packages ?
For example :
The 1st place winner would pick one kit from Package #1 and one Print from Package #2 .
The 2nd place winner would pick a first and second choice from each package .
And the 3rd place winner would pick a first , second , and third choice from each package .
This way if their first choice is already gone they would receive their second choice and so on .
It would be no extra work on my part and the only down side would be if one of the winners was somebody who only checked in once in a while , that would really slow the whole process down .
I think it could work . . . what do you think ?
And of course each winner will receive a Go-Mad !

I think thats a great idea, this will allow members to appreciate some things they want the most and feel their prizes are worth to keep rather than getting it and selling it.. because they simply have one or dont have a connection with them.

Sounds like you guys are really thinking, and trying hard to run the best possible contest. Real life is keeping me out of the contest -- (sorry!) -- but the interest is still there. The idea of a Best Unfinished entry sounds really good. As does this idea of the winners picking their own prizes.

The idea of a Best Unfinished entry sounds really good. As does this idea of the winners picking their own prizes. No apologies needed Ward , we all have other obligations that come first . Seems like a lot of members are having a hard time finding time to build anything , myself included . I honestly don't know how I'm going to finish even one model before the deadline !  If the winners picking their own prizes works without any problems it should become SOP , along with the Best Unfinished !  |

My apologies as well... I've been buried with "life" as well ... I had intentions of building a Super Zinger but the project had to be temporarily sidelined ...

I give a thumbs-up to the prize idea, as well.
As to limited time, I hear ya'll.
March and April became months for packing/cleaning/moving into our new house.
I've yet to figure out how to consolidate furnishings and hobby stashes from my (other) house to bring into the mix!!
