I Don't know if any of you were watching this one over the weekend . . . prices seem to be going back up to where they were a few years ago . Definitely time for this one to be reissued !

Yeah, I was watching that one, just to see how high it would go.

What's weird is that asking prices (or starting bids) are going way up for Tom Daniel stuff in general (including these yahoos who ask $30+ plus shipping for a *currently available* kit), but more for some particular kits than others. Thunder Bugs and Rat Vegas seem to be ridiculously expensive these days, though you can still nab built Rat Vegas for for under $30. Some really rare kits are coming out of the woodwork lately, and while they aren't cheap, they aren't going crazy. There's currently a Low Blow chopper that has been dropping in price as it has been relisted. Several original (built) Horn Toads have been showing up - I snagged one recently for $55 free shipping on a Buy It Now.
Kind of strange to see which kits' prices go up and down the way they do.

The Tom Daniel stuff seems to go in cycles , the Horn Toads are a good example and so are Rat Vegas and Poison Pintos . For a while they'll be selling for $100+ built up then all of a sudden there will be some for $50 or less , even kits in that range . I picked up a couple of Poison Pintos (1 kit and 1 built) last summer for around $35 each when just a few months earlier they were all out of my price range ! Same thing with ThunderBugs and other TD kits . . . . . . it pays to be patient .

Yes it does pays off, I have wanted a couple of kits but like bob said, way out of price range... I wait till the prices is low and see the chance to get what you can afford. Its like betting...
