Todd Glad you're joining in on the fun Todd ! I've been trying to think of ideas too , hoping it will be much easier once I've got the little bugger in my hands !

I'm probably repeating myself but I love this little bug , from the California Black Plate to the suitcases with little GB and F stickers on 'em !

This has been a very fun & rewarding project .. tires are from the Beatnik Bandit II kit.. the chassis came from the same kit both sectioning and narrowing the chassis, and other components.. the engine is from a Round2 parts pack with some modifications being done for fitment. Bulkheads and firewall is scratchbuikt from .120 sheet plastic. Rims are resin custom made along with front turn signals and resin cast headlight buckets and lenses .. the rear lights were molded from a Deal Wheels bug kit then cast in red clear resin.. finished off with various flats and gloss enamels , lacquers, gloss & flat.. painted with a rattle can of enamel baby blue model paint ... the Ratfink character was a figure on my shelf.. I cut him below the arms to fit ... I hope it puts a smile on your face !

The Gas Treatment Special ! HAH , Rat Fink is definitely full of gas ! Very cool Chuck , and lots of eye candy on your little bug . Seems we are always thinking alike as I dug out a little Rat Fink to drive my go-cart . . .

It was a challenge in itself to find "something" that fit in the available space... old Finky will never let ya down !!

The over all old school racing look is killer.
