Great stuff, Harley! Saw that psycho-delic Vette over on Tres' site. Always wanted to give it a try, but haven't had the gumption yet.

Man that Harley is a wild and crazy guy !! Love these builds and yes I too remember the "Vette"... never tried hydrodipping (?)... but it sure looks amazing !!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I don't know if getting a swirladelic paint job to work is simple or I got lucky first time out. As far as I can remember, as long as you've got steady hands and use the right sort of paint (i.e. not water based) then the worst that can happen is you don't like the result!

It's a little bit of both ! I remember doing it back when Hank Boerger first showed the "Swirladelic" paint job in Car Model Magazine and it is pretty simple to do , seems like getting set up took some time but the paint job itself only took a few seconds ! I've got those old magazines , maybe time to dig it out and try one again !
