Thanks,Bob and Chuck! I am extremely honored to have my little vette picked as this months featured toon build! To be recognized by my peers here means a lot to me! There are a lot of talented builders who are members here, and I feel very lucky to be a member of the “CarToons Hall of Fame”. I appreciate this very much,and I can’t thank everyone enough! #33This months Featured Toon is one very rare Ed Roth kit . . . Brother Rat Fink !
There are a few people lucky enough to own an original and Starryeyes is one of them , over time he was able to collect all of the parts and pieces needed to build this fine example .
During the build Chuck worked his magic by extending the forks , modifying the handle bars , and adding different wheels along with a new seat and sissy bar. Finished with another fantastic paint job Brother Rat Fink was a winner in our Ed Roth - Rat Fink - Weird-Ohs Reunion Contest .
Congratulations Chuck ! The rest of us will have to keep our fingers crossed that we get a reissue one day .

#34To close out 2022 I chose a really cool little dragster as this month's Featured Toon , it's called the "Awful Altered" and was built by our friend from the Isle of Man . . . Harley .
Starting with a Roarin' Rail he did several modifications including shortening the frame and slicing up a roadster body to fit . After modifying and detailing the engine he added several more personal touches before finishing it in a gorgeous metallic green paint . As you all know I'm a big fan of the Snap-Tite kits and this has to be one of the coolest Roarin' Rails ever !
Congrats Harley and thanks for sharing this with us , looking forward to more fun stuff from your bench in the new year !
