Turning the trash into Gold is a fun challenge. I did with an old Ferd phony car... and was hard getting one back then. I am sure this one will be a wonderful looking car after all  |

Well, I wish I'd thought this out before I got to where I am.
I posted this over in the Scores thread about 2 weeks ago:
At the time, I thought, it'll just be a quick snap kit, with maybe some touches, so I won't enter it (it is a Wacky Races race car, right???).
But, silly me, I got into it, doing more than I expected, and now I'm 90 percent done with no WIP shots to this point.

Since it is "recently started and not finished" your Wacky Racer is eligible to be entered . You can still start a WIP on Feb 1st showing the state it is currently in and go from there , maybe explaining some of what's already been done . It's your call but I'm okay with it . |

As soon as I saw the race theme, I thought Go Kart, and then I remembered that I have a couple Endsville Eddie parts, soooooo....  I whipped up this idea. Granted, that ain't Eddie, but maybe I can fit him in.... 🤔😁  Dumped my stash of parts and possibles out on my bed to help get started. I simply have to do a WeirdOh/ Fink Mr Potato head sometime 🤔  Made this little racer mostly by rearranging Endsville Eddie's stock car body, with wire wheels from a 1/18 diecast, but it stalled. Set Empty Eddie in the cockpit here, for a possible Plan B?  And finally, a buddy gave me this 1/24 Minicraft Rolls Royce kit, and I just had to see if it might make a kool Toony gasser or demo derby car..... Maybe some other time. Ok, so I'm official: Crazee Ken Carter. Awaiting further instructions 🤗 |

The Mean Machine would have been an entry, if I timed it better, but, it's finished before the starting date.
So, I'm thinking I'll work something up, starting with these pieces:
A cartoon racer I've wanted to do for a while.
Now seems like the appropriate time. Hopefully, Gertie would approve.

I was thinking about kit bashing the Boss Austin with Mothers Worry. I'm also going to make a few changes to the Mothers Worry figure to make it look a little different.  Love the idea- can't wait to see it come together 😎 |
