And this is my #1 reason for hating doing taped off multi-colored paint jobs.... I use high-end tape, I had the edge smoothed down really well, and I still ended up with a ragged line along the edge. I'll do some cleanup/touchup work, then probably run a black separation line between the colors. The real cars actually had that, so what the hell.... I never have these issues with the airbrush, yet another reason not to rattle can anything.....  That's curious . I use Tamiya TS spray cans 90% of the time and have never had that happen , I can't explain it . On the other hand . . . I love those colors !  |

Everyone's builds are looking really nice ; my home computer has given up the ghost so I have no pictures, but the Super Spurt is looking better and better. Just put the first coat over the primer last night . Don , check your messages . |

I'm down to the end here, just needs some touch-up work and cleanup and I think it's ready to roll and take final pictures. I made the decals for this, the Funster decals are just hideous! Fortunately I had a decal sheet in one of the funny car kits that was in pretty good shape so I scanned it and printed some up. Lookin' really good Tim ! Agree completely about the Funster decals , they're a waste of time and making your own was the right move . Be sure to post your finished photos in the "FINISHED PHOTOS" thread .
