That's a superbuild! Love it! Thanks Fabrizio ! I forgot to remove what looks like "B" pillars on the Mustang body (inset in photo), it's actually the chrome trim and seal for quarter windows . So I carefully snipped it out with sprue cutters and sanded the remnants smooth , then touched up with some white primer . A little color and it shouldn't be noticeable . Patterns were made for the windshield and rear glass then transferred to and cut out of clear plastic . They're covered with blue tape to prevent scratches . I also decided to add a roll bar since the side uprights and the rear braces will be visible thru the side openings and the rear window . There's little to no clearance between the helmet and the inside of the body so I played with the roll bar diameter over the helmet , it still may not clear and might need to be cut out completely . For the exhaust I rolled some .010" plastic around a tapered punch then used liquid cement . When fully dry I trimmed both ends and connected them with some plastic rod so they can be attached to the chassis . Temporarily taped in place to get the correct location and angles . Paint touch-up is done and the decals are applied . Won't be long now !

Excellent work and WIP posts as always Bob. With a nod to the old steel axle car models that ran the axle through the oil pan.... 😁 Don't be afraid to run that roll bar thru the dude's helmet 😳 😂😂

Thanks much guys ! Excellent work and WIP posts as always Bob. With a nod to the old steel axle car models that ran the axle through the oil pan.... 😁 Don't be afraid to run that roll bar thru the dude's helmet 😳 😂😂 Thanks and you're absolutely right , we can get away with lots of stuff when building Toons ! I finished this one up last night and was going to take some pics this morning when I found that Murphy paid me a visit during the night . The rear window , which was glued securely in place just like the windshield , had come "unglued" and was hanging into the interior ! Luckily it came back apart without any issues and the window is now clamped in place and re-glued . After drying overnight I'll put it all back together and try again .

Just Amazing. As said somewhere else by me, the orange kit came up for sale here on ebay UK for £125, I didn't bother to look to see if it was sold!

Thanks for showing so many how-to pix. You've done a superb job of designing/combining/slicing the parts. It looks like something Dave Deal would have done -- what a pity he isn't around to admire it. Congratulations on your win -- I voted for it.
