Well, sometimes, I just gotta...
The starting point:

I ended up cutting out an inch-worth ahead of the door handles. The initial stitching:

A little cleanup. Opened up the side windows a bit and removed said door handles.

Carved out the fenders for fitting the wheels and modified the kit frame to fit in.

After some putty and primer, and a scratch built spoiler. Sitting on the set of wheels from the ChEl Camino.

While the body is in the purple pond (paint ripples ), I did up an interior and driver (a resin cast head and Sculpy shoulders):

and painted up:

and did some two-part epoxy faux engine work on the chassis.

Definitely a curbside build
