GMS Customs ( ebay ) received one case and I just happened to see it when he had 3 left ! They were all gone pretty quick . Tower Hobbies and Spotlight Hobbies still show " Early July " , and they are about $4 less than what I paid .

ok... it's confession time for me.. last year I was purchasing a lot off eBay.. I ran across GMS Customs .. purchased a few things and everything was fine... Of course being anal as I am I sent him a message and shared the fact that I noticed a pattern in his selling practices.. And within a few days of buying from him the item(s) would be relisted at a $4-$5 reduced price... I merely asked if I would be wise in waiting and making a multiple purchase to save some cash.. His reply? Let's say he blocked me as a buyer and I can't even contact him.. He's locked me out !.. wow.. sure didn't see that coming .. So I purchased my GoMad from eBay "OmniModels" for $19.95 / $1.97 sales tax ... they're fast , reputable and $1.99 for shipping... just sharing !!

Interesting . . . This is the first time I've bought from GMS and I know they were a few dollars more than what I've seen elsewhere , but they had one so what the heck ! Thanks for the info Chuck , I'll check out Omni Models ( name sounds familiar - must have bought from him before ) .

Tower hobbies already has these available. Had to grab half a case myself. Go get one....or six before they're gone.

No chrome strips in the kit , and I've never held an original in my hand so I can't answer your question . Going thru photos that I've saved it looks like all of them have painted strips on the tailgate , does yours have chrome ?

Looks like they went with the 57 cHevy chrome tree. Too bad. I used heavy weight metal tape to do up the gate on the original Nomad I restored. I can live with it.
