Sounds like fun. I have an old "Hut Rod Huey" kit in the stash, and have been wanting an excuse to play with some "simulated wood" painting techniques, anyway. Probably the perfect kit for playing with that "look".

Okay - you want basic you got basic! Here is my entry. Tooned FAB 1. (super deform in Japan) Looks like a grand total of 14 pieces with a sheet of decals. HA - don't even think I will need glue! But it is going to strain my eyeballs to paint those itty bitty figures. Attachment Deleted |

The closest kit that I have that I would build "basic" is the Glitter Bug so I'll go with that. All of the others I want to modify more than this build allows. We are goin' on little get away so I'll be on the beach plannin' the build.

We are goin' on little get away so I'll be on the beach plannin' the build. Smokey - I'm going to make provisions in my "basic" build to modify later !!! NOW... for the contest I'm sticking to the rules and using only what the kit supply's ... attaching SOME parts with clay for easy removal to make my modifications later... none of the provisions will be seen yet cleaverly "hidden" under some of the parts !! |
