The closest kit that I have that I would build "basic" is the Glitter Bug so I'll go with that. All of the others I want to modify more than this build allows. We are goin' on little get away so I'll be on the beach plannin' the build. Smokey - I'm going to make provisions in my "basic" build to modify later !!! NOW... for the contest I'm sticking to the rules and using only what the kit supply's ... attaching SOME parts with clay for easy removal to make my modifications later... none of the provisions will be seen yet cleaverly "hidden" under some of the parts !! Thanks and Yep...I thought of that also. I was thinkin' of a Snap Draggins Willys pick up fenderless but, I REALLY don't like those small diameter front tires. I also want to continue workin' on my resin stuff to keep the Camaro build goin'. I'm fine doin' a Glitter Bug "quicky". I'm limited on time but, want to be involved with the Car-Toon board. This is a great place and anything that I can do to help it's success I want to do.

Also I want to keep the "Back To Basics" build as it is built in the display case to think back on the build and to what everyone else built for it.

Are we restricted too vehicles? Heck no Buddy !!! ANYTHING toon related !! Ratfink, silly surfer , weird-oh what ever you like !! You can only use what the kit will supply.. extra spru, cardboard box, papa we instruction sheet etc.... you CAN use putty to smooth the joints ... hope this helps !! Hmmmm. I can use the cardboard box and the plastic bag the parts came in. Thanks for the suggestion.

Man the Corsair looks great !! Thanks Chuck ! It's not quite "tooned" enough for my tastes but it's a neat little kit . Kinda reminds me of a GeeBee Racer that's been modified to look like a Corsair .
