Smokey, your details give it life. I like the cut down windscreen, narrowed tires and the engine work. However it's the beach mat, sign in the back, blanket and fishing pole with bumper rack that tells your story without any words. Great work, lov'en the paint!

I remember $29.95 when I was a kid in NE Pennsylvania, watching the commercials on cable stations from either Philly or Jersey (no Earl Scheib's in Wilkes Barre, but my uncles were in the auto body biz - equally as shady)
The "$99.95" was my consideration of the timeline for a 73ish Dodge getting a crappy paint job in the 80s, plus, I felt the YouTube commercial posted really conveyed the crassness!

.... and now I want a Tom Carvel Cookie Puss ice cream cake... look it up.

Paint 🎨 On the figure is still wet but I got her done ! The little
Stars were part of the kit supplied decals.. they are actually stick-on..various figure paints were used along with House of Kolor red and urethane clear.. this is also my first hand at using one of the Molotow chrome pens .. Route 66 here I come !

Finally I got the camera to cooperate and download the pictures...

The car has an electric motor that run out of AA batteries.



Rolling chassis... The tires rubber is very hard.




Here the particular of the mechanism that will make Snoopy turn his head when the car is moving.

Here is my entry- A Swine Hunt that spent many years in its box after I purchased the built kit. I tore it down and kind of forgot about it ! As the "tank" is still basically a dune buggy, it should be a desert fighter so Afrika Corps mustard seemed to be the obvious choice . The axles were made from the leftover sprue . I really wanted to put some custom decals I had and put a little string on the popgun cork, but that wasn't in the rules ! LOL . Anyway, I'm glad I was able to finish it in time !

Finally! Now I am done and am on my way to a grand vacation... this is the most toughest model car I ever built. With my chunky hands I barely put a signal lites on all over...
