Just cracked open the box... hoping to make this mama into something fancy. As fancy as she can be, anyway.

Rust, primer, final coat done. I did the same steps about 15 years ago on a woody. Meaningful (or mindless) madness, lets see.... Ooooo I like that color ! Looking forward to seeing some rust .

Glued and began to paint the little lady... just the first layers, anyway. Next is the baby buggy.

The body is done. Scooby-doo told me that the 1:1 had a fiberglass front clip, doors and trunk, thus no rust on those, just wear. As for the "barn floor", my can of rustoleum speckle would only ooze out like lava. Different nozzles wouldn't help. I can almost call this build fini. Attachment DeletedAttachment Deleted

Cool idea making a little shop out of the box !

Gonna take a chance that I'll finish this, in time ... (The paint work is considerably beyond this, but I need to stop and take a few decent / recent photos.)

Okay. I think I'm getting the hang of posting images on that new-to-me Post Image site ... so, here's the next photos of the work-in-progress on Huey's Hut Rod. On the wood grain, and maybe (later) on everything else (when I get to that?) I'm working via brush painting, rather than using an airbrush. I'm using, mostly, paints by these guys: www.reapermini.com/
