These old resin garage kits were rough at best.. I’ve been hearing parts, twisting, and using hot Water to align some of the old parts.. all in all I love the challenge and thought what better time to push myself to completion for the “Mild to Wild” contest !!

Wow, that looks like a great sculpt!
And big! What scale would you guesstimate?

Not a ton of progress but because of the rarity of this kit I’m working getting all the necessary prep work correct smoothing everything on the body and especially the helmet

Wow - I was just looking at those pix close up. That is a lot of putty work to do! The radius rods look fragile also. This is gonna be cool!

Yep this was an old garage kit by the late Gerry Pitre back in 2000-2001... these are long gone and a tad rough but lots of cool ... somebof the parts are too rough to make it look “store bought” but I’m good with that .. some parts I’ve re-tooled and cast to make improvements for a better build .. it’s been in my bucket list for years

Kool info on this Chuck. Awesome sculpt by the dude, and looks like you are determined to honor that.
Going to look great in paint- even greater than it looks now.
Keep up the good work 👍👍

Well I’m still filling , sanding and smoothing things .. this old (and I mean old) resin popped kit is not for the faint of heart but I love bringing things like this to life .. I have ball mits for hands so this should give everyone an idea of its 1/16th scale rating. still making progress .!!
