Really nice tail lights! kind of blends with both 57 chevy and 57 thunderbird... I guess its the fin tail that plays a big role in design during the 50's era. Looking forward to seeing the completed model and I know its gonna be wonderful!

Really Nice and candy red makes a difference! Just looked at the mickey mouse antenna? if it is ... I usually make my own antenna like this but not mickey mouse and used them on a baja humbug with a smiley face on it... the pieces were from an old guitar wire and glued the beads given by my daughter who spent time making kiddies necklaces and stuff... had to strip off the paint on the beads because of finish, the paint wont stay on it so I removed it... glue inside the bead along with wire and then sand off the excess dried glue on outside bead to round up... then I dipped in any color paint just enough it reaches the other side of bead.. as I get the paint enough out.. moving around to keep the paint even on bead along with hair dryer to dry up...then all I did was just add the smile face.. VOILA... Since I see this sample you re using ( mickey mouse) I will find a way to make some and try that By the way, really awesome job and love this car and have to say it sure stands out among other creations you have made so far RIDE ON! Thanks!
Looks like 2 little round disks were glued to the pin to make the ears...

DETAILS!I painted the area around the Zinger Supercharger with Tamiya Flat Black. Then I glued it in. Drilled a hole for the antenna and attached it with Zap-A-Gap. Found some old Styline Chrome Bullets that fit just right. Don't forget the Goodguys Decal! More Coming...

JUST A FEW MORE DETAILS...The Tail Lights are from a 12th scale Cord. I attached them with 2-sided Foam Tape. The Chevy script is from a 16th scale 57 Chevy. I cut the Chevy Script from the Big V and glued it in place with Formula 560 Glue. I used an X-Acto Knife to hold the piece while gluing. Here is the Script in place. I also found some 59 Impala Tail Lights that fit on the Fins just right. Well, that's about it, a little touch up and Cam-Air is Finished! Finished Photos Coming Soon...

This time... many cops would not notice a camaro in it... they would think that ah... a classic chevy driving by and probably continue finishing their donuts... Ha!
Really awesome car! Nice build!!

Once again, a thing of beauty and inspiration. Just seeing this makes me want to smash some plastic cars together and try to make something neat. I would too, if I didn't have this Gigantic USS Enterprise to finish. You have truly turned kit-bashing int an art form!
