Vette Vents!I used 1/4 inch Stripping Tape to do the Black in the Vents. Then I brushed some Testors Dullcote over the Tape. More Coming...

Vette Door Panels!I cut the Door Panels from two 1985 Corvette Interiors. Next I started to fit the Door Panels to the Vette Jet Interior. The front sections needed to be cut quite a bit to fit in place. This photo shows the Front Sections Before and After modifications. I glued Plastic Strips to the bottoms of the Door Panels to add height. More Coming...

Black, Red and Silver!I added putty and sanded the Panels Smooth. Then I sprayed them with Flat Black Primer. I Masked off the areas that will be Black and Sprayed the rest with Tamiya Silver Leaf. Then I Sprayed the Silver areas with Tamiya Mica Red. Here they are with the Masking Tape removed. I also used Bare Metal Foil on the areas as shown. More Coming...

We've Got Seats!I glued the Door Panels in place and then glued in the Seats too. Turned the Instrument Cluster into a Monitor. Lots of room here for a Great Sound System... Front View. More Coming...

Sweet Sounds!I made some photo copies of some small Speaker Decals an enlarged them. The Thirty Speakers are designed to Neutralize the Engine Noise an deliver Cool Music to the passengers. I attached them with 2-Sided Tape. More Coming...

Vertical Thrusters!I'm using 12th scale Corvette Wheels for the Vertical Thrusters. The Wheel on the Right shows it Before and the Wheel on the Left shows it After a Black Wash was applied. Here are all four in place. More Coming...

Motor Madness!!!I started adding more color to the Pod Racer Engines. Then I applied a Black Wash. After it dried I sprayed the Engines with Testors Dullcote. Next I added several Red Fuel Lines. The Engines are almost ready to mount on the Vette Jet. More Coming...

Get A Grip!I found an old set of 8th scale Handle Bars in the parts box. I think they will work on the Vette Jet. First I removed all of the old chrome. Next I painted the Bars with Tamiya Silver Leaf and then I painted the Grips Flat Black. I cut the Bars to fit and then glued them on the underside of the Dashboard. Here they are in place. More Coming...

Overlapping Bubbles in the Future!I finally got both Front and Back Bubbles to fit in the Bubble Ridge but one of the Bubbles is too long. So I marked the rear Bubble using the front Bubble as a template and cut the Rear Bubble flush with the Front. After seeing some clear parts that were dipped in Future I decided to try it on the Bubbles. Thank you Robert and Kinley for all of the Future Tips! I decided to dip the parts instead of brushing them. Now I need to find a container for Future Dipping... I used the other half of the bottle that, I cut one of the Bubbles from, for Bubble Dipping. The Bubble is Done!I taped the Bubble halves together with RC Stripping Tape and then I glued them in place with Formula 560 Canopy Glue. I decided to finish the Bubble Top with some Black and more Silver Stripping Tape. The Vette Jet should be Finished later today! Finished Photos Coming Soon...
