Yesterday I sanded everything super smooth and sprayed a couple of coats of finishing primer . Today they get some color !   |

So I have a paint mask for flames that I was going to use on this but my paint area in the garage is a mess from working on my 1:1 car so change of plans . I dug thru my paints and I had Bright White but the only bright colors I had were yellow or orange . . . . . . I chose orange . Kinda reminds me of a Taxi !   |

Surprise !!! I actually spent a couple of hours early this morning (couldn't sleep) and did the foil . Not a smart idea being tired and with bad eyes , but it turned out okay . It's still a long shot being finished in time but you never know! It's actually more orange than red but for some reason orange never photographs properly .  |

Looking good! .... Hurry up  like the orange color on the car... putting foil is hard thing to do esp making it smooth as possible. You did an excellent job on that! |

Thanks for the encouragement guys ! I found some decals and finished the wheels and tires . Now I need to spray some Alcad Chrome on the bumpers , make a grille and hood emblem , do the interior (and a driver), and I still need a base to put the whole thing on ! Some kind of exhaust , maybe a roof rack and surfboards . . . . . . lions tigers and bears , OH MY !   |

It doesn't look like much but I finally sat down yesterday and spent a couple of hours working on this again ! I got the bumpers and some of the trim pieces painted , and mounted the wheels & tires to the chassis plate . Like I said it's not much but after so long it's going take me a bit to get back in the swing of things .   |
