Chuck, you always give us something to aspire to. All three are freakin' awesome, especially your treatment of FlipOut's face and teeth!

Seems like it was a partial build or something when I got it or it was broken in shipping and I patched it up .. that was ages ago.. and I think the Fuzz was a glue bomb that I completely re-did .. I have another surfer dude that has the same teeth treatment .. sometimes things just happen !

#27This month we have a couple that were reissued by Atlantis . . . "Snoopy" and "The Red Baron". Sold separately these two were built by long time member Plastimatic . We're all fans of these early Monogram kits and these two excellent examples show that with a little love these basic kits can be turned into real show stoppers !
Congratulations Jim ! With more coming from Atlantis in the next couple of months I'm betting your shelf is going to get pretty crowded . . . "Curse you Red Baron !".

Wow, thanks guys!
I love those kits. They are fun, and it was great to get a chance to build them with a better skill set. These were done especially to go on a shelf in my gal's home office. That may have be sneaky on my part , but she's a Snoopy fan as well. I've already let her know there are more from the series on their way!

#28Let's crank up the Way-Back Machine and travel back a few years . . . It's 2012 and there was a Car-Toons Contest on our sister site The Coffin Corner , among the winners was the "49 Furd" built by Car-Toons member Don Culley . The Deal's Wheels Never Was style of Toon is one of the most popular and this months "Featured Toon" is another excellent example . Congrats Don ! Well deserved and hope to see more from you in the future !

Thanks for the compliments guys ! Hard to believe its been 10 years since I built this , my first and only attempt so far to try and build something Dave Deal could have drawn up. It was a lot of fun, and I got fifth place in the contest which I was very happy with considering the great builds that were entered. I'm honored to have my Furd posted as the featured build for June !
