Hello,
my name is Alex, I´m 36 years old from Paderborn/Germany.
I stumbled across this forum by accident while searching for inspirational pictures of cartoonish cars. I have been browsing the forum a couple of times and decided to join the group of people who actually likes this style. In other forums it becomes a bit tiring to hear, that they like the craftsmanship but not the look of the model...
I´m mainly customising diecast models from 3inch (or 1:64) up to 1:43 and 1:32 scale. I have tried plastic kits, but they somehow don´t agree with me. Only one completed built, a Willys Gasser (which I can´t show here due to the rules) versus about half a dozen I tossed out... (nothing cartoon related)
I´ll show you some of my work after I sorted out how to control the picturesize by datasize and not pixelsize (which "my" uploadpage does)

Hey guys! A lot of the folks I see here have been friends for many years, from hanging around Dave's Showrod Rally back in the day, good to see familiar faces! Chuck and I have been good friends for many years now a well, so I need to hang around here more often to see what kind of trouble he is causing.... I have been building models since I was a kid, and I never get tired of it. I do get tired of doing the same thing, so my interests are pretty wide. You can visit my web site here at: www.ratdaddystudios.com to see what I do. In the meantime, I'm going to try to get back to building some Deal's Wheels, Rat Finks and other assorted oddities for your viewing pleasure... Tim Nolan aka Ratdaddy
