Hey guys! A lot of the folks I see have been friends for many years, from hanging around Dave's Showrod Rally back in the day, good to see familiar faces! Chuck and I have been good friends for many years now a well, so I need to hang around here more often to see what kind of trouble he is causing....  I have been building models since I was a kid, and I never get tired of it. I do get tired of doing the same thing, so my interests are pretty wide. Hey gang.. Just found this Board and I think it is a cool one..Funny that Chuckie Darnell didn't mention it to me since i have known him for years..
anyway I have a Bunch of toon cars that and dieing to get started on.. One day you will see the results..

a Little more about me. I have been on Online Modeling boards and Email groups since 1997. Mostly the Model car List On Yahoogroups and the Straight line modelers there also. Hobby heaven board is an other one I was On. TRAKS in scale and a few Box Art groups. anyway .. here i am In the plastic..

Hello. I'm Roy and 52, going on 53 in a month. Dang! I've been building models off and on for decades. I went through a spell of just collecting but recently picked up the knife and glue. I hope to grab some good ideas from you all. I made my own version of a Deal's Wheels but still smoothing it out for the last 10 years. I'll reveal when I primer it. I hope it meets with your approvals. Take care!

I'm Adrian Bruce, a 58 year old in Sydney Australia. I was crazy about hot rods, Topfuel dragsters & Funnycars, Tom Daniel, Ed Roth, Dave Deal, CAN-AM and Le Mans up until early Junior High, and didn't know anyone else that was. Have drawn Dave Deal inspired cars and characters since that time. Then discovered Audio, Music, Synthesizers, the guitar and electronics... while keeping up the artwork... and have come back to modelling every so often. Spent 15 years living in Japan where modelling and Art materials were readily available and inexpensive, unlike here! Have also sculpted, and wrote a whole bunch of articles on scratch building and sculpting for the UK Magazine SF&FM around 1995 to 1997. And... have a Funfdecker, Glitter Bug and GO-MAD waiting, among other things.............  |

I am Stanley Mindiola (unkljune) and I'm a model builder. Been around when bottle paint was a thing, testing of lemon scented glue, wood putty for body filler and finished models in a couple days or weeks instead of a couple months. No cares about seam lines, pin marks or smudges as long as I got it done, too move onto the next kit. Yes, I am a modeler.

I started out the same way , even tried some wood putty on a couple of models . . . and that lemon scented glue was awful !! |

Hi all, my name's Tim Jones and I come from Oldbury, about 4 miles from Birmingham, England. I've been building for a good many years, mostly cars and aircraft. I have built a few toons and have a few more in the stash. Having recently taken early retirement I'm planning on getting more bench time in than I did before.
